Hello I am Yeon
I've always been a girl who loves clothes. It felt natural to take an interest in fashion and enjoy dressing up. So as I spent three years studying Fashion Buying, I came to realise that my interest was more than just a hobby. I truly enjoyed every class and found each assignment genuinely exciting.
Studying abroad made university life feel as exciting and refreshing as exploring a new city. It’s something I feel truly lucky to have experienced. During my final year, I had the opportunity to work as a summer intern. As I picked things up quickly, I started to feel like I had truly found where I belonged.
After that, I joined a merchandising team helped me discover what I was truly good at. I began to wonder how much more I could grow in a bigger environment and that’s when I chose to leave my steady job and move to London with nothing but a clear sense of purpose. As expected, the city was full of talent and competition. Finding my place wasn’t easy. But my passion for fashion never wavered, and I eventually started working as a freelance editor for a Korean fashion magazine.
Now, I summarise global fashion news, read English articles, curate images and create thumbnails, which has brought energy and joy back into my daily life.
I have a deep commitment to the fashion and beauty industries, along with the ability to quickly adapt to rapidly changing trends. Through my overseas studies and various projects, I have developed strong skills in working efficiently. I am highly responsible and able to work independently, with a strong determination and attitude to quickly adjust to new environments. These qualities make me confident that I’m the right fit for the role. You can trust this confidence because it’s grounded in real experience. I look forward to proving myself through my adaptability and dedication to efficient work.
I believe this challenge will help me become an even better version of myself. I’m broadening my experiences right now. Please take a moment to review my journey and effort I’ve put into it.
