영국에서 가장 사랑 받는 악당이자 <월레스와 그로밋> 시리즈의 페더스 맥그로우가 런던의 가로등을 점령했습니다. 

런던 시내 곳곳 가로등 위에 등장한 75개의 페더스 맥그로우 조형물은 엔지니어 작가 벤 제임스의 게릴라 아트 설치 프로젝트입니다. 약 20명의 동료들과 가방을 꿰매고, 부리와 눈을 하나하나 붙이는 수작업을 거쳤습니다. 

소호, 코벤트 가든, 트라팔가 광장, 메이페어 등 런던의 주요 지역에서 이 도둑 펭귄을 마주칠 수 있도록 설치되었습니다. 모든 설치물에는 ‘feathers.today’ 라는 작은 스티커가 붙어져 있어 링크를 통해 사람들은 자신이 발견한 페더스 맥그로우와 찍은 셀피를 업로드 할 수 있습니다.

One of Britain’s most beloved villains is back in action—this time, not on screen, but perched above the streets of London. Feathers McGraw, the silent criminal mastermind from Wallace & Gromit, has taken over the city in the most unexpected way.

A total of 75 handcrafted Feathers McGraw sculptures have been spotted atop lamp posts across Soho, Covent Garden, Trafalgar Square, and Mayfair. The installations are part of a guerrilla art project led by engineer-turned-artist Ben James, who, along with a team of nearly 20 collaborators, meticulously stitched bags and hand-attached each beak and pair of eyes.

Every mischievous penguin is tagged with a small sticker reading “feathers.today”—a portal for passersby to upload selfies with the rogue bird they've spotted.
